You can change the contents, formatting and properties of single-line text. 
Edit Single-line Text 
 
   
  - Double-click a single-line text object. 
	 
- In the In-Place Text Editor, enter the new text. 
	 
- Press ENTER. 
	 
Change Single-Line Text Properties 
 
   
  - Select a single-line text object. 
	 
- Right-click the selected object and select Properties. 
	 
- In the Properties palette, enter any new text, and then change formatting and other properties as needed. 
	 
 Move, Scale, and Rotate Text 
 
   
  - Select a single-line text object to display the grips. 
	 
- Do any of the following: 
		- Move. Select the grip and drag the text object to the new location. 
		  
- Scale. Select a grip, right-click and select Scale. Drag the mouse to define the scale or enter a scale. 
		  
- Rotate. Select the grip you want to use as the rotation origin, right-click and select Rotate. Drag the mouse to define the rotation or enter an angle. 
		  
 
Note: A text object has grips at the lower-left corner of the baseline and at the alignment point.
