A section view style is a named collection of settings that control the appearance of section lines and the hatching and labels of section views.
Section view styles provide the means to quickly specify the format of the various constituent of section lines and section views. It is also a convenient way to ensure conformance to drafting standards (industry or project). The two section view styles that are available by default, Imperial24 and Metric50, make section lines and section views conform to the ANSI and ISO drafting standards respectively.
When you create a section view, it uses the settings of the current section view style.
