If your system is equipped with location sensors, they can indicate your current position in model space.
The system displays the My Location indicator in model space at the position corresponding to your current location. If you move, the My Location indicator also moves. If your position cannot be determined accurately, a blue circle is displayed around the My Location indicator. The smaller the circle, the greater the accuracy.
AutoCAD depends on the location services built into Windows to implement position tracking. Hence, enable GPS sensors before you track your position in a drawing. In Windows, under
- Administrator settings, enable the Windows Location platform (This is ON by default).
- Privacy settings, turn on the “Let apps use my location” option.
