Add New Table to Database Dialog Box

Adds a new, blank table to the selected database.

Find
 Command entry:  AEADDCATALOGTABLE

Database to modify

Specifies the catalog data database that you want to modify.

Existing tables

Lists the existing tables found in the database.

Table Name

Specifies the name of new table to add to the selected catalog database. The new, blank table inserts with the default fields defined (for example, the fields needed for the catalog lookup function).

Table Description

Specifies the description for the table. If the selected database file is a catalog file, an entry is also added to the _FAMILY_DESCRIPTION table. The entry contains the table name and description.
