Convert Non-AutoCAD Electrical Toolset Blocks

1. Click Conversion Tools tabTools panelSchematic Conversion drop-downConvert to Schematic Component. Find
2. Pick your non-AutoCAD Electrical toolset block containing attributes and text entities.
3. Pick an AutoCAD Electrical toolset block from the Insert Component dialog box to use in its place.
4. Specify the insertion point.
5. From the Component Parent/Stand-Alone Annotation dialog box, assign text/attribute values to AutoCAD Electrical toolset attribute names and click Done.

   If your non-AutoCAD Electrical toolset block has attributes, or you picked some text entities, the dialog box includes buttons to make it easier to assign your values to AutoCAD Electrical toolset attributes.

Finish mapping values from non-AutoCAD Electrical Toolset blocks

Use this utility to continue what you started with the Convert to Schematic Component tool. Use it if you did not finish mapping values from your non-AutoCAD Electrical toolset block.

1. Click Conversion Tools tabTools panelMap Attributes from Old to New. Find
2. Select the block for additional attributes.
3. Optionally, select any non-AutoCAD Electrical toolset block or text objects to map values to the AutoCAD Electrical toolset attributes and click Done.

Convert a Block to a Source Arrow

1. Click Conversion Tools tabTools panelSchematic Conversion drop-downConvert Block to Source Arrow. Find
2. Select your non-AutoCAD Electrical toolset source block and/or any text related to it that you might want to map to the new AutoCAD Electrical toolset source.
3. Select the wire end for the source arrow.
4. Define the Source Signal Code and click OK.
5. Define attribute values.

Convert a Block to a Destination Arrow

1. Click Conversion Tools tabTools panelSchematic Conversion drop-downConvert Block to Destination Arrow. Find
2. Select your non-AutoCAD Electrical toolset destination block and/or any text related to it that you might want to map to the new AutoCAD Electrical toolset destination.
3. Select the wire end for the destination arrow.
4. Define the Destination Signal Code and click OK.
5. Define attribute values.
