To Work with the Annotation Monitor

Turn on the annotation monitor for all events or model documentation events only.

To Turn on the Annotation Monitor

• On the status bar, click the annotation monitor button: Find.

  The annotation monitor status bar button changes to , and an annotation monitor icon is added to the status bar:

To Turn off the Annotation Monitor

• On the status bar, click the annotation monitor button Find. The annotation monitor button changes to .

To Make the Annotation Monitor turn on for Model Documentation Events Only

Note:

• Model documentation is not available in AutoCAD LT and some AutoCAD-based products.
• Model documentation is available only on 64-bit systems.

1. On the command line, enter ANNOMONITOR.
2. On the command line, enter -2.

   The annotation monitor automatically turns on (ANNOMONITOR=2) as soon as a model documentation edit or update event occurs.
