To Connect MvParts Using Alignment Grips

You use the alignment grip to connect an MvPart to another object by aligning their connectors and placing the MvPart in the correct orientation. The alignment grip lets you accurately move a radiator valve to another side of the radiator.

The alignment grip only appears on an MvPart connector when you can move or realign the MvPart without affecting other connections. Otherwise, use the location grip on the connector to move the MvPart.

To move a valve to another connector and maintain alignment

  1. Select the radiator valve MvPart.
  2. Click the alignment grip on the valve/part you want to move.

  3. Select another radiator connector to align the selected valve.

This action moves the MvPart while staying in alignment with the original position.
