Traditional, manual CAD designs require that you draw a single object (such as a duct or a pipe) multiple times in different drawings to produce different views of the same object. For example, you might have a 1-line drawing of a duct and piping layout and a separate 2-line drawing of the same layout to clarify the construction documents. For each drawing, you use a separate collection of drafting entities to represent the objects.
