The Library feature simplifies working with and managing drawing files. When you start the AMLIBRARY command, the Library dialog box appears.
All options for the library are available by a right-click. You can do the following:
The structure of folders in the Library can be different from the structure of directories on the hard disk.
Example: You have two directories, C:\ACADM\Design\Construction, and C:\ACADM\Design, and you want to add those directories to the Library. In the Library, you can set the Construction directory as a folder and the Design directory as a subfolder.

When you select a folder in the Library structure, all slide images of the files contained in that folder are displayed in the preview section of the Library dialog box. You can right-click on the selected folder to display the folder shortcut menu, and then edit that folder. For example, you can change the name of the folder, create a subfolder, add new files, or set how slide images appear in the Preview section of the Library dialog box.
When you select a file, the program selects the slide image of that file automatically. You can right-click on the selected file to show the file shortcut menu, and then edit that file. For example, you can insert the file into the current drawing, display an enlarged view of the slide image, create a slide for the file, or set how the program inserts the file into the drawing.
