Synchronizes the content you select in the drawing with the corresponding content library.
You typically use this command when you modify a custom content library or copy a newer version to your computer. This command works with Vario libraries as well.
This command only updates the content that it can sync without prompting you for further input.
For example, when you originally inserted a part, it did not contain a hatch. After the content library is updated, the part contains a hatch and requires your input for the hatch parameters. Such a part does not update when you execute the AMCONTENTUPDATE command.
You must double-click each such part (invoke power edit for that part) to update them. When you double click such a part, AutoCAD Mechanical toolset prompts you for the missing parameters and updates accordingly.
The following prompts are displayed.
