- At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
- Click the AM:Standards tab.
- In the Standard Elements list, double-click the root node (the standard name). The Standard Settings dialog box appears.
- Click Settings. The Object Property Settings dialog box appears.
- In the Category list, click Text. The Show Properties for Text list shows the text categories supported by AutoCAD Mechanical toolset.
- Click the color icon in the row corresponding to the text category to change the color for. The Select Color dialog box appears.
- Click a color and then click OK.
- Click in the Lineweight column and select the lineweight from the drop-down list.
- Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
Note: The text color settings reset to the selected color for all objects containing text.
