By default, the insertion point of the part/feature is 0,0. However, if you want to change this, you must insert a Content Base Point at the intended insertion point. The Content Base Point is indicated by the icon in the drawing area.
You can have only 1 Content Base Point per view. Once you place the Content Base Point, you can move it or delete it, as you would any other object.
At the time you make a part/feature resizable, you must parametrically constrain the Content Base Point. If you do not constrain it, the Content Base Point can move relative to the rest of the part/feature, during resize.

By default, Content Base Points are placed on the layer AMC_Construction_Invisible layer. However, even if you move a Content Base Point to another layer, it is not displayed when the part/feature is inserted in drawing.
