Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture 2023 Known Issues
The topic contains important information about Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2023.
Content Packs
- For stand-alone installation, all content packs are installed by default. The installer does not have the option to choose the content packs for installation. There is also no option to remove the installed content packs from the Add/Remove Programs. Shortcuts for all content pack profiles are created in the Windows Start Menu by default.
Import Custom Settings
- For stand-alone installation, importing of custom settings may take a longer time due to the large data for content packs.
- If you have set your Windows User Account Control to default, "Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer," you may encounter an error alert about the Global profile not found when you click the Start button after installation. This error can be ignored and the product will still launch with Global profile.
Custom Content Browser Library
- Uninstallation of a language pack that is installed using a deployment with custom content browser library may revert the catalog library to the default standard library. If this happens, manually repath to your custom library location.
Side by Side Installation with AutoCAD Architecture 2022
- Uninstallation of AutoCAD Architecture 2022 after AutoCAD Architecture 2023 is installed might cause an issue in the Content Browser. If you don't want to keep the two versions in the same machine, uninstall AutoCAD Architecture 2022 first before installing AutoCAD Architecture 2023.
