AutoCAD Electrical 2023 Known Issues

This topic contains important information about Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2023.

Installing using the Autodesk® Desktop App

Content libraries are always installed to their default location regardless of the settings specified in the Autodesk desktop app.
All symbol and manufacturer content libraries are installed by default.

Autodesk® Vault Basic 2023 (Client)

Sign in with your Autodesk ID and download the Autodesk Vault Basic (Server and Client) from https://www.autodesk.com/account.

Catalog Database Schema

It is recommended that you do not make any changes to the default catalog database schema, such as modifying the column name or adding a column between existing columns. Refer to the AutoCAD Electrical Help for more information about Catalog Database Schema.

Language Packs

The customization that are configured for the main product will not be applied to the language packs during the installation.
AutoCAD Electrical does not support running a specific language product on a different language operating system. For example, running a Simplified Chinese AutoCAD Electrical on English operating system may not function properly and is not a supported configuration. In some cases, this might work when the languages are similar. English AutoCAD Electrical works well on any language operating system.
You can download the Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical language packs from the Autodesk Accounts portal (https://manage.autodesk.com/) or install the language packs along with the main product using custom install.
