Fixed Issues in Autodesk Civil 3D 2023

This document lists product fixes included in Autodesk Civil 3D 2023.

Alignments
Fixed an issue in which the station offset label for a rail alignment was incorrect along a curve.
Fixed an issue in which the PVI label did not appear for a certain alignment when alignment masking was on and the "Lock to End" option was selected.
Assemblies and Subassmblies
Fixed an issue with subassemblies in which the slope transition was not correct.
Fixed an issue in which assembly offsets were not applied to the corridor.
Fixed an issue in which a customized subassembly disappeared from view after its parameters were edited in the Properties Palette.
Autodesk Collaboration for Civil 3D
Fixed an issue in which data shortcuts were not organized in the appropriate folders when setting the working folder and data shortcut project folder from Autodesk Docs in Civil 3D 2022.1.
Fixed an issue in which the referenced corridor in the host drawing was not updated when its location was updated in the source drawing.
Fixed an issue in which the source drawing was not uploaded to the Desktop Connector folder along with its host drawing when references that use a relative path and an absolute path to the same source drawing are in the host drawing.
Fixed an issue in which data referenced objects could be dragged in and out of folders without the user having a BIM 360 entitlement.
Enhanced the behavior when opening a drawing from the cloud. The drawing will be locked before the open process starts. In case the drawing is already locked by another user, a notification dialog box is displayed to allow you to cancel the drawing from being opened or to continue to open the drawing as read-only.
Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS
Fixed an issue in which the schema mapping for specific material was not correct when importing a pipe from Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS.
Fixed an issue in which the elevation value was incorrect when importing objects from ArcGIS when the coordinate system used a different unit.
Fixed an issue in which exporting to FGDB would be unsuccessful if there was a null alignment in the drawing.
Added an option to select or ignore the elevation value in ArcGIS when importing COGO points into Civil 3D.
Fixed an issue in which the catalog ID was taken as the part family ID when publishing structures to ArcGIS.
Autodesk Vault
Fixed an issue in which an error was displayed when importing a data shortcut working folder with project files into Vault.
Fixed an issue in which after moving a drawing with xrefs to another folder in the Vault client, and checking out the host drawing in Civil 3D, an xref drawing could not be found.
Fixed an issue in which all the folders were expanded when selecting the project to display after logging into Autodesk Vault.
Fixed a stability issue that would occur if checking in a drawing to Vault that contains references.
Corridors
Improved stability when opening the Corridor Properties dialog box for a corridor that has multiple corridor surfaces whose names are the same.
Fixed an issue in which corridor cross sections were displayed incorrectly when the visual style was changed in the Corridor Section Editor.
Fixed an issue in which the point subassembly was missing in section view if its parent sample line was not perpendicular to its baseline.
Fixed an issue in which the corridor shape and target of slope end were lost when setting the At Offset Target Geometry Points parameter to Yes in the Frequency to Apply Assemblies dialog box.
Fixed an issue in which the property set data for corridor solids was not updated when the corridor was edited.
Fixed an issue in which the Slope Stake report user interface was missing a corridor link code.
Fixed an issue in which editing alignments that were previously used as corridor targets caused the corridor to be out of date.
Fixed an issue in which deleting an alignment PI could possibility cause a corridor region's station range to be incorrect if geometry locking is chosen.
Fixed the incorrect display of link arrows in the Corridor Section Editor.
Fixed an issue in which the corridor model was drawn incorrectly when opening the drawing.
Fixed an issue in which a subassembly couldn't use a target that didn't match the Side parameter specified for the subassembly.
Fixed an issue in which targets would be lost after adding or editing targets for multi-target subassemblies in Civil 3D 2022.1.
The corridor rehab reports format was changed from xml to html so the reports can be opened by Microsoft Edge.
Cross Sections
Fixed an issue in which the section view band labels would appear outside the limits of the section view when changing the offset value.
Fixed an issue in which the section views would not appear correctly on the section sheet if they use a Right to Left section view style.
Data Shortcuts
Fixed an issue in which it was not possible to set the data shortcuts working folder or project folder when the ShortcutsHistory.xml file was missing.
Fixed an issue in which data shortcuts were not created when the same profile name existed in different parent alignments.
Dynamo for Civil 3D
The Dynamo core version has been upgraded to Dynamo 2.13.
Feature Lines
Fixed a stability issue in which Civil 3D would become unresponsive when auditing multiple zero length feature line segments.
Fixed an issue in which the AUDIT command would not fix errors in feature lines that exist in sites.
Fixed an issue in which additional vertices were created after running the AeccFeatureLineCrossing command.
Grading
Fixed an issue in which the grading creation tool would create surfaces incorrectly at certain locations.
LandXML
Fixed an issue in which profile geometry was not imported from LandXML correctly and vertical curves could not be solved.
Fixed an issue in which a rail alignment that had curves with different cant pivot methods could not be imported to Civil 3D from LandXML.
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when importing a specific LandXML file.
Miscellaneous
Fixed a stability issue that would occur during IFC export.
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when running the CreateViewFrames command when the current layer was locked.
Fixed an issue in which the output result was not created from the LandXML Reporting tool.
Fixed a stability issue that would occur after clicking on the View Cube several times in the Object Viewer when selecting a pipe and surface together.
Added the Push To Autodesk Docs and Traces Palette buttons to the Civil 3D Collaborate ribbon tab.

Fixed an issue in which some STM files could not be imported into non-English versions of Civil 3D.
Fixed an issue in which Network and Pressure Pipe Network were not listed in the Quick Select dialog box.
Fixed an issue in which the start and end offset values in a pipe rule were treated as 3D lengths.
Added the ability to hold the pipe slope/invert after moving the pipe end.
Fixed an issue in which pipe hatching was not trimmed correctly by the structure boundary.
Fixed an issue in which pipe rules didn't work well with negative slopes.
Fixed an issue in which the pipe elevation was changed when exporting as an SDF file.
Fixed an issue in which flared end sections were reversed in profile view.

Added the ability to show customized gravity network properties in pipe crossing profile/section labels.
Added the ability to the RegenNetwork command to regenerate a structure's solid.
Fixed an issue in which the results of applying pipe rules were not consistent.
Points
Fixed an issue in which an unhandled exception would appear after switching between All Survey Database Points and All Points in Drawing in the Point Proximity Report dialog box.
Improved performance when opening and editing drawings that contain many point groups.
Pressure Networks
Added a Color label for the pressure network compass color item in the ribbon.
When selecting a station range for a pipe run profile override, the whole profile view will not be zoomed to automatically.
Removed the Dynamic column on the Override tab of Profile Setting dialog box. Now when you select a reference profile the range is dynamic, and when you select None the range is not dynamic.
Fixed an issue in which some command prompt text in the CreatePipeRunFromParts command was not correct.
Updated the text of the tooltip shown for the Clean Up PVIs check box in the Pipe Run Profile Settings dialog box.
Fixed an issue in which a crossing pipe in profile view didn't use the user defined size.
Removed the ability to specify the Elevation Reference in the Swap Pressure Network Parts dialog box.
Added the ability to check whether the Default Cut Length in the pressure network feature settings is larger than the minimum length.
Updated the text of the warning regarding unsupported geometry in pipe runs.
Fixed an issue in which pressure pipe labels on curves were not updated with the pipe in section view.
Enhanced the warnings to display immediately when a pipe part is detached from the underlying pipe run.
Fixed an issue in which the pressure part styles set in the parts list were not used when the pressure network was referenced by data shortcuts.
Fixed an issue in which the boundaries of some appurtenances were not shown correctly in profile view.
Profiles
Fixed a gap which would appear in offset surface profiles at alignment tangent/tangent intersections. Existing drawings need to be reopened and the alignment must be grip edited to apply the fix and update the existing objects.
Fixed an issue in which a negative value could not be entered for a PVI in profile grid view.
Fixed an issue in which curve smoothing was not displayed at the ends of each superelevation region in profile view superelevation bands.
Fixed an issue in which superelevation curve smoothing extended beyond the limits of each profile view.
Fixed an issue in which the wrong surface profile geometry was created when a supplementing factor was used for surface breaklines.
Rail
The parameter difference information is now updated right after Type, Filter, or Model are modified when changing a rail turnout catalog.
Fixed an API issue in which the cant criteria attribute "pivot method" was missing for cant curve.
Fixed an issue in which cant was not applied to the corridor at a cant transition range created by resolving overlapping transition in/out regions.
Reference Templates
Fixed an issue in which the "Multiply Owned Objects" errors are displayed in the command line box when saving a drawing after editing a referenced object style.
Subassembly Composer
Fixed an issue in which re-ordered input/output and target parameters in the Subassembly Composer were not saved in the subassembly PKT file.
Surfaces
Fixed an issue in which user-defined contours would not be displayed when a surface mask was applied.
Fixed an issue in which the 2D area and volumes in the Volumes Dashboard were different when using different types of objects as a boundary for the same surface in Civil 3D.
Fixed an issue in which solids could not be extracted from a surface for depths other than 0.
Fixed an issue in which surface legend tables provided different results in Civil 3D 2016 and Civil 3D 2022.
Fixed an issue in which the volumes report results were incorrect when using the composite volumes method.
The Volume Dashboard report format was changed from xml to html so it can be opened by Microsoft Edge.
