The Driveway subassembly inserts links to create a driveway with a detached sidewalk. The driveway and curb and gutter is based on APWA Standard Plans for Public Works Construction, 2012 edition.
You should verify that the dimensions used match your interpretation of the standard plan.

This section lists the parameters in this subassembly that can be mapped to one or more target objects. For more information, see To Specify Corridor Targets.

Top of Curb | Used to determine the driveway state to build the driveway. The following object types can be used as targets for specifying the elevation: profiles, 3D polylines, feature lines, or survey figures. | Required |
The curb and gutter, and driveway dimensions.
None.
The initial point is set at the attachment point. The curb and gutter shape is then built. The top of curb is adjusted based on the top of curb profile.
The type of driveway is determined by the user parameters. The top of curb elevation target cannot make the top of curb higher than the curb height, nor lower than the curb face at the low location. A higher top of curb elevation results in the maximum curb height. A lower top of curb elevation results in an elevation above the flowline/surface plus the curb face at low input parameter.
For Type A:
The driveway is integral with the sidewalk for its entire length. The slope of the driveway is based on the full curb height and the sidewalk grade for a distance of the X value.
For Type B:
The driveway is not integral with the sidewalk for its entire length. For a distance Y, measured along the curb, the driveway has a triangular wing shape. The distance for the driveway is based on the proportional curb height and the X and Y input parameters.
Sidewalk:
The sidewalk location is built from the input parameters assuming a full curb height along the driveway length.
In layout mode, this subassembly draws the full height curb and sidewalk.
