Finding an Item in a Subassembly PKT File

Use the Find capability to find properties in the flowchart, codes, enumerations, and parameter definitions in the Input/Output Parameters tab and Target Parameter tab.

To find

  1. On the menu bar, click EditFind.
  2. In the Find and Replace dialog box, on the Find tab, enter the text that you want to search for in the Find What box.
  3. From the Find Where list, select the location of the content you want to search for.
    • Flowchart: Find geometry definitions, properties, and variables that are used in the flowchart.
    • Parameter Settings: Find items on the Input/Output Parameter and Target Parameter tabs.
    • Define Codes Dialog: Find the code name in the Define Codes dialog box.
    • Define Enumeration Dialog: Find the enumeration name in the Define Enumeration dialog box.
  4. Select Match Case if you want to find only those instances that match the capitalization you have entered in the Find What box.
  5. Select Find Whole Words Only if you want to find only whole words that match what you have entered in the Find What box.
  6. Select the List Results check box to display the location of the results.
  7. Click Find All. The results are listed at the bottom of the dialog box.
  8. Click a row to go to that location in the subassembly, or use the Move to Next button to navigate through the results.
