Use the Import Property Set From XML command to transfer property set data from one drawing to another drawing by using an XML file. Use this command in conjunction with the Export Property Set To XML command.
To transfer property set data from one drawing to another, you use the Export Property Set To XML command to create an XML file containing the property set data, and then import that file into another drawing using the Import Property Set From XML command.
- In the Toolspace, on the Toolbox tab, expand Miscellaneous Utilities
SHP Import/Export Utilities SHP Import/Export Settings. Double-click Import Property Set From XML.
- In the Open Property Set Information File dialog box, select the .xml file and click Open.
