Labels are composed relative to a zero angle (the default X axis), and are placed in a drawing based on an orientation setting. Label offsets and rotation values are measured relative to the orientation setting.
In the Label Style Composer dialog box, click the General tab.
Under Behavior, change the Orientation Reference value to the desired item.
