About Managing Points

You can manage points using an Autodesk Civil 3D project.

For example, you can add points to a project and protect them so they can be viewed and copied by others, but not modified.

Note: Survey points that are created using the ProspectorSurvey tab are not included in project management operations even if they are selected. For example, any Survey points included in the selection list during the Add to Project command are not added to the project.

You can populate a project with points by creating the points in the drawing and adding them to the project.
