Pipe Networks Tab (Profile View Properties Dialog Box)

Use this tab to view and change properties of pipe network parts and pressure network parts in a profile view. You can change the column widths in the table to make it easier to see the contents of cells.

Note: This tab is displayed only if there are one or more pipe networks or pressure networks in the drawing.

The properties table has the following columns:

Name

Displays the name of the pipe network or pressure network and associated parts.

Draw

Specifies whether to display the part in the profile view. Selected items are displayed in the profile view.

Note: Only checked items can have their Layer, Style, and Style Override modified.
Description

Displays an optional description of the part.

Layer

Specifies the drawing layer on which the part profile is placed. Click to display Layer Selection dialog box from which you can modify the layer.

Style

Specifies the style used by the part. Click to display a style selection dialog box from which you can modify the style.

Style Override

Specifies whether to override the style for the selected part for this profile view. This style is used only in the current profile view. Any other profile view that is plotting the part would use the style as specified by the Style column value. Click to select a style in the style selection dialog box.

Show Only Parts Drawn In Profile View

Specifies whether to display only the parts that are drawn in the profile view.

Show Only Crossing Pipes

Specifies whether to display only the pipes that cross the alignment. This setting filters the list of pipes so that only the pipes that cross the alignment are listed. This setting affects pipes and pressure pipes, but not structures, fittings, or appurtenances.

  • When the Show Only Crossing Pipes check box is selected and the Show Only Parts Drawn In Profile View check box is cleared, the list of parts is filtered to show the pipes that cross the alignment. Pipes that cross the alignment are always shown, regardless of their Draw status. If the pipe network or pressure network contains no crossing pipes, then the network name is not listed.
  • When both the Show Only Crossing Pipes and the Show Only Parts Drawn In Profile View check box are selected, the resulting list only shows the pipes that are drawn in the profile view and also cross the alignment.
