Note: Query conditions for Points and Figures are defined in the same way. Steps 5 through 7 apply to both the Points and Figures collections in the Survey Query Builder.
In the Points and Figures rows, in the Property cell, select By Query.
None specifies that the query excludes all points in the survey database.
All specifies that the query includes all points in the survey database.
Note: If either None or All is selected for either the Points or Figures collection, skip steps 6 and 7 for that collection.
Use the following columns to create a condition to include in the query:
Property
Operator
Value
Select an attribute to query. The attributes that are available are dependent upon the attributes that are used in the current survey database.
Select the logical operator to use for the condition. The operators that are available are dependent upon the specified Property.
Specify the desired result of the Property and Operator equation.
Repeat step 6 to create another condition in the next row. Use the AND/OR list to specify how a condition is linked to the previous condition.
Note: If no further conditions are desired for a collection, do not assign values to the Property, Operator, or Value cells in the last row.
Under Default Sort Order in Editor, select properties and orders to define the default manner in which the points and figures are sorted in the Survey Points Editor and Figures Editor.
Note: User-defined properties cannot be selected as a default sort order.
Click Save Query to save the query to the survey database, or click Save File to save the query to a QML file.
