Use this page to review any dependent files to be added to the project along with the drawing, and to specify the creation of DWF files.
- Keeps Files Checked Out
-
Specifies that the files will be added to the project, but the drawing will remain checked out to the working folder, available for revisions. The file remains open in the current
Autodesk Civil 3D session.
- Project Files
-
Specifies which files to add to the project. If you do not want to add a dependent file, clear its check box.
Positioning rules for xrefs:
- If an xref is already inside the project folder, the xref will be put directly in the mapped location of the server.
- If an xref is outside of the project folder and in same folder of the host drawing, it will be put in the location of the host drawing after check in.
- If an xref is outside of the project folder and in a subfolder of the host drawing's folder, the same subfolder organization will be constructed under the location of the host drawing, and the xref will be put into the subfolder.
- If an xref is outside of the project folder and outside of the host drawing's folder, a subfolder with the name of the container folder will be constructed under the location of the host drawing, and the xref will be put into the subfolder.
- If the target location for the xref already contains a drawing with the same name as the xref, the xref is considered to be already submitted and the host drawing will reference the existing (already-submitted) drawing.
- Create DWF
-
Specifies whether to create a DWF file.
DWF files display the drawing’s preview in the Autodesk Vault tool.
Note: Previews from
.dwf files are not displayed in Prospector in 64-bit versions of
Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Enter Version Comments
