Use this dialog box to move Civil 3D objects to ArcGIS layers that exist in the drawing.
You can move objects that are created in Civil 3D to existing ArcGIS layers in a drawing, and then save the layers back to ArcGIS, which adds the new objects to ArcGIS.
An ArcGIS layer that matches the type of object you want to add to it must already exist in the drawing. An ArcGIS layer for an object type is created when you import an ArcGIS dataset. For example, when you import an ArcGIS dataset into a drawing that contains an alignment, a dedicated ArcGIS layer is created for that alignment in the drawing. You can move new Civil 3D alignments to that ArcGIS layer.
