ShowMotion provides an onscreen display that can be used to play cinematic camera animations. These animations can be used for presentation purposes or to navigate through a design.
There are three types of shots:

Still - Contains a single stored camera position.

Cinematic - Utilizes a single camera position, with additional cinematic camera movement applied.

Recorded Walk - Moves along an animation path.
Play a Shot in ShowMotion
Viewing controls can be found on each thumbnail in ShowMotion. They include the following:

Play - Plays shots and view categories. When the cursor is over a thumbnail, the Play button is displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the thumbnail.

Pause - Replaces the Play button during playback. Click on the Pause button to pause the playback. When the playback has been paused, the Pause button is replaced by the Play button.

Go - Moves the camera to key positions while you modify shots or view categories. When the cursor is over a view category thumbnail, the Go button is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the thumbnail. To move the camera to the key position of the first Shot of the view category, click the Go button. Key positions are determined by the Current Camera Used As setting found on the Shot Properties tab.
Procedures
To play a shot
- Start ShowMotion.
- Drag the cursor over the thumbnail of the shot you want to view.
- On the shot thumbnail, click the Play button located on the upper left-hand side of the thumbnail. The shot you selected plays.
To loop the playback of a shot
- Start ShowMotion.
- In the toolbar below the main thumbnail, click the Loop button.
Note: If the loop setting is on, the shot will loop when played until you click the Stop button or press the Esc key.
To play all shots within a view category
- Start ShowMotion.
- Drag the cursor over the thumbnail of the view category you want to view.
- On the thumbnail, click the Play button located on the upper left-hand corner of the thumbnail. All shots in the view category play.
