To Copy Model States to View representations

You can copy a Model State to a View representation to create a new view of the model. Suppressed components are invisible in the view. A suppressed component does not participate in the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Use these steps to create a View representation from a Model State:

1. In the assembly browser, click Model States to expand, right-click the appropriate Model State in the list, and select Copy to View Rep from the context menu.
2. A new View is created which duplicates the Model State name. Suppressed components are invisible.
3. Expand the View node, highlight the new View representation, and choose Activate to activate the View configuration.
