To Resolve Skipped Components in Part and Assembly Files

What's New: 2020.1

When you open an assembly or part file containing components (including references to AnyCAD files) in folders not specified in the active project, you can choose to skip the loading those components. Skipped components are listed in the browser with a special symbol to indicate they are not loaded.

Tip: If you select to skip finding the missing reference(s), you can re-open the Resolve Link dialog by right-clicking the top node of the browser, and selecting the context menu option Resolve File.

Use one of these ways to resolve a skipped file:

Note: Subassemblies that contain unresolved references to parts cannot be loaded. Resolve the missing file using one of the methods described in the previous section, and then open the assembly file again.

You cannot create a drawing view or assembly presentation or open a drawing or presentation of an assembly with skipped components.
