To Control Display Appearance

Set Application-Level Appearance

Controls the options for the appearance of the display of the model.

  1. Click File Options.
  2. In the Application Options dialog box, Display tab, Appearance section, click Use application settings.
  3. To modify the settings, click Settings, and enter changes.
  4. To apply changes immediately, click Apply. Unapplied changes become effective when you click OK and close the dialog box. You can export changes that you did not apply.

Set Document-Level Appearance

Control the appearance of a single document.

  1. On the ribbon Tools tab Options panel , click Document Settings Display Appearance Settings.
  2. In the Display Appearance dialog box, adjust the parameters.
  3. To access parameters for display of the ground plane, click Ground Plane.
  4. Click OK to accept modifications and close the Display Appearance settings dialog box.
  5. Click Apply. The appearance modifications persist in the document.
  6. Click Close.

Enable Document Appearance Settings

Specifies that any document with document appearance settings opens with those settings.

  1. On the ribbon, click Tools tab Options panel Application Options.
  2. On the Display tab, Appearance section, click Use document settings.
