Label Properties dialog box

Adds, modifies, and removes properties on selected label occurrences.

Access:

With an active harness assembly, right-click a label occurrence, and then select Harness Properties.

Occurrence Tab

Name

Displays the unique name for the label occurrence within the assembly. It is also the name used in the browser.

Use Defaults

Sets whether to use the defaults from the library label or to override these defaults with other properties and custom text. Clear the check box to override defaults.

Default Contents

Displays the contents of the label so you can override the contents on the occurrence.

Property displays the properties to include for the text on the label. Click the arrow to select a property from the list, and then click Insert Property.

Font Size displays the font sizes for the label. Click the arrow to select a font size from the list.

Label contents text box displays the contents for the label. Click the text box to add custom text in addition to any inserted properties.

Note: When displayed in a nailboard, it is possible that the size of the label cannot accommodate the specified text. In this case, adjust the width, height, and font of the label until all text is displayed.

General tab

Name

Displays the library name of the selected label.

Category

Displays the category in which the label is organized, if applicable.

Part Number

Displays the part number for the selected label.

Height

Displays the height for the selected label.

Width

Displays the width for the selected label.

Custom tab

Name

Displays the entered property name. Click in the input area to enter a new property, or if available, click the arrow to select from the list.

Type

Data type for the selected property. Click the arrow to select an appropriate data type from the list.

Value

Enter a value for the selected property, if appropriate.

Add

Adds a new property to the list.

Delete

Removes the selected property from the list.
