Provides the means to add a new secondary sprue to the mold design and to edit, delete, and adjust the dimensions of the secondary sprue.
- Access
- On the Mold Layout tab, click Secondary Sprue
. Note: If Secondary Sprue is not visible in the Mold Layout tab, click the arrow under Runner, and then click Secondary Sprue.
- Placement

Sketch Point - Select a runner sketch point as the base point for the secondary sprue. Select the end point and midpoint of the runner sketch.

Up Growth - The preview of the extension changes to the positive Z axis.

Down Growth - The preview of the extension changes to the negative Z axis.
- Taper
- Enter a value for the taper angle.
