Set the number of rows and columns, then place the table in a drawing.
- On the ribbon, click
Annotate tab
Table panel
General .
- On the Table dialog box, select <Empty Table> from the source list.
- Specify the number of columns and rows. The default is four columns and ten rows, unless specified in the Table style.
Important
Do not include blank rows or empty cells. Inventor will stop the table generation as soon as it sees a blank row or empty cell.
- On the Annotate tab, Format panel, the Style, and Layer are set to By Standard. If appropriate, change one or both of these settings.
- Click OK to place the table on the drawing sheet. The table is snapped to selected geometry, including the border and title box.
Note: The table title and column names derive from the table style, if they were specified.
Tip: Right-click an empty table and select Edit to insert data in the table.
