- In the graphics window, right-click one or more symbols of the same type, and then select the appropriate edit option:
- Edit Definition to modify the original symbol sketch. All instances of the symbol update with the changes.
- Edit Symbols to change the selected symbol settings in the Sketch Symbol dialog box.
- Properties to modify symbol properties. Change Line Type, Line Weight, Color, and Scale.
- To move, rotate, or resize a sketch symbol, select the symbol in the graphics window to show its grip points.
Note: For static symbols, only the green grip point is displayed. Clear the Static option in the Sketch Symbol dialog box to display all grip points.
- Click a grip point, and do one:
- Drag the green point to move the symbol to the appropriate location.
If the symbol contains
connection points
, use the connection points to snap to other geometry in the drawing sheet.
- Drag the blue point to rotate the symbol.
- Drag a yellow point to set size for the symbol.
Note: If an insert or connection point is coincident with a resize grip, the insert/connection point takes precedence. Resize using an alternate grip or change the scale in the Sketch Symbol dialog box.
