To Create Flanged Styles with Mixed Units

Some flanged styles require both English unit piping components and metric unit fittings. Use the Mixed Units check box to indicate that mixed units are required. Under Diameter in the Tube & Pipe Styles dialog box, the mixed units are represented as the OD or nominal diameter value followed by the units of measure, for example 2 in (66mm) or 66mm (2 in).

Note: When you switch from a mixed unit style to a single unit style, you are prompted to select which diameter to use, and click OK. The diameter you select is displayed and the components listed in the table are referenced to the appropriate family member. If the diameter selected was from the pipe side of the flange, the elbow components are cleared from the table. If the diameter selected was from the flanged connection, the piping components family is cleared from the table.
