Edit Revision Table Reference

Change table layout and features such as revision numbers and table wrapping.

Access:

Right-click an existing revision table, and then select Edit from the menu.

Toolbar Options

Column Chooser opens the Revision Table Column Chooser dialog box. You can add, remove, or change the order of the columns.

Sort opens the Sort Columns dialog box. Specify columns to use and the sort order for primary, secondary, and tertiary sorting.

Export saves the revision table to an external file. Click the command and then specify the file name and format.

Table Layout opens the Table Layout dialog box. You can change the title, row insertion direction, heading position, line spacing, and preferences for table wrapping.

Insert Row inserts an empty row at the position next to the selected position in the table. The data in this row have no association to the revision table data source. You can select more rows to insert in one step.

Remove Row removes selected rows from the table. You can remove multiple rows in one step.

iProperties opens the iProperties dialog box.

Add Revision Row(s) adds a revision row at the end of the table. Select some existing rows first to add the specified number of revision rows at the end of the table.

Update property to revision number If selected, any edits made to the revision number (REV) cell in the active row are written back to either the Revision Number iProperty or sheet revision property (depending on the revision table scope). If not selected, edits made to the revision number in the active row are treated as data source overrides.

Column editing options

Right-click a column heading (the name of the column) to access menu options.

Table Layout

Modifies the title, location of the heading, row spacing, table wrap preferences, and sort order.

Column Chooser

Selects columns to include in the table.

Format Column

Formats table data for columns.

Column Width

Specifies a fixed column width.

Row editing options

Right-click a row to access menu options.

Visible

Clear the check mark to hide the row. Hidden rows are gray in the Edit Table dialog box. To restore visibility, select Visibility on the menu.

In configuration tables, all members are included in the table by default. To simplify the table, turn off visibility of member rows you do not want to include in the table.

Wrap Table at Row

Select Wrap Table at Row to activate table wrapping at the selected row or clear the check mark to turn off.

Insert Row

Inserts a row at the position next to the selected position in the table. You can select more rows to insert in one step.

Remove Row

Removes selected rows from the table. You can remove multiple rows in one step.

Static Value

Sets a fixed value that does not update with changes to the item in a part factory or other edits.
