Organizes assembly and weldment features in a hierarchy.
This browser sorts contents in modeling or assembly views, shows and hides components, enables feature rollback, controls access to features, and commands to create and edit them, and provides access to operations on the context menu.

- Available when an assembly weldment file is open and active. May also be displayed or hidden on the ribbon using

Weld feature groups
Three weld groups represent the sequence for creating a weldment. Each weld group lists assembly features in the order created within that group. Activate the group by double-clicking to perform tasks on features in that group.
Preparations
- Displays assembly features (chamfers, extrude cut, and holes) used to remove material to prepare the model for welding.
Welds
- Displays assembly features that represent the actual weld. Assembly weld bead features can be cosmetic welds or solid fillet or groove welds and can only reside in the Welds feature group.
The Beads folder is located in the Welds feature group. It contains all consumed and unconsumed weld bead features. Right-click to select options to sort beads by All Beads, Consumed Beads Only, or Unconsumed Beads Only.
Machining
- Displays assembly features that represent the post-weld machining and finishing. Valid assembly features for machining include chamfers, extrude cuts, and holes.
Browser filters

- On the browser toolbar. In both Assembly and Modeling Views, filters reduce the volume of information presented in the browser. Click to select a filter.
- Hide Work Features affects display of all Origin and global work features. Feature-level work features display when a feature is expanded.
- Show Children Only affects display of all parent-level assemblies. This option is not available when the Part environment is active (when you edit or create a part in place).
- Hide Notes turns display of notes off or on.
- Hide Warnings turns warning symbols attached to constraints in the browser off or on. It does not hide failures.
- Hide Documents turns inserted documents off or on.
Representations

- On the browser toolbar. Lists recently created Design View representations. Click to define or retrieve a representation.
Browser views
Assembly
- In Assembly View, assembly constraint symbols are nested below both constrained components. Part features are hidden.
Modeling
- In Modeling View, assembly constraint symbols are placed in a single folder at the top of the browser tree. Part features are nested below parts, just as they are in a part file.
Context menu options
The context menu (right-click) presents selections for operations on the selected component, feature, or constraint in the browser. Depending on the browser configuration and the selected item, some or all options may be available.
These same context menu options, plus viewing options, are available when you right-click an item in the graphics window.
