To Add Revision Tags to a Drawing

Mark the location of drawing revisions as they occur.

1. On the ribbon, click Annotate tab Table panel Revision Tag .
2. If a revision table exists in the drawing or on the drawing sheet, continue with step 3. Otherwise, on the Revision Table dialog box, select the table scope and indexing.

   Select the Update property on revision number edit check box to keep the connection between the current revision number and the revision number property saved in drawing iProperties or sheet properties.

3. In the graphics window, click to pick the location for the revision tag.

   When you place a revision tag without a leader, place it on a view to associate it with the view.

   Tip: To associate a revision tag to view geometry, select the first point of the revision tag leader on an edge or in an existing point.
4. Right-click, and then select Continue from the menu.
5. Click to place another revision tag.
6. When you are finished, right-click, and then select Done from the menu.
