The following edit options are available for sketched route segments:
- Add interior route points manually.
- Continue forward routing with a finished sketched route segment.
- Place fittings on a sketched route segment, and delete a placed fitting.
- Change the active route style.
- Reposition a placed fitting by editing segment dimensions or using the 3D Move/Rotate command.
- Use 3D Move/Rotate to move route points in three dimensions.
- Create bends using the Bend command, and particularly edit the bend criteria using styles in bent tubing routes.
- Edit dimensions (linear, angular, and radial) using the General Dimension command.
- Switch between driven dimension and normal sketched dimension.
- Show, edit, and delete geometric constraints.
- Delete sketched route segment.
- Draw construction lines from the sketched route points. You can hence place dimensions and constraints to position the adjacent segment accurately in the spatial coordinate system.
Tip: Before editing sketched routes, you can determine whether to allow the tube and pipe runs assembly, specified runs, and specified routes to respond to changes. It is recommended that you defer automatic updates for large and complicated tube and pipe assemblies.
