To assign an image plane to an existing camera shot
- Do one of the following:
- If the camera shot has no current image plane, right-click the camera shot and select
Attach Image Plane from the pop-up menu, then browse to select a file.
- To change an existing image plane, right-click the camera shot and select
Image Plane Attribute Editor to open the
Attribute Editor for the current image plane, then select a new file using the
Image Name attribute.
Note: Image planes in the
Camera Sequencer are designed to play movies, so the image plane
Type attribute is automatically set to
Movie. If you want to assign a still image instead of a movie, you can change the image plane
Type to
Image File. If your system supports QuickTime, you can still use the
Movie type and QuickTime can read some images as a single-frame movie.
To use the image plane to hide geometry
- Set the image plane opacity to 1.0.
The scene geometry will not be drawn.
