The
Workspace layout options window associates a workspace with various interface options. To open the window, select
Windows > Workspaces > [Workspace Name] > 
.

- Link a Menu Set to this workspace
- Activates the selected menu set when switching to this workspace. To create a custom menu set, see Custom menu sets.
- Link a Hotkey Set to this workspace
- Activates the selected hotkey set when switching to this workspace. To create a custom hotkey set, see Hotkey Editor.
- Link a VP2.0 Preset to this workspace
- Loads a preset of viewport options when switching to this workspace. To create a custom viewport preset, see Viewport 2.0 Options.
- Automatically save layout changes
- Turn on this option if you want Maya to update the window layout without the need to save it every time you reposition a window. If this option is off, Maya reverts to the saved layout after reopening.
