XGen Primitives attributes
Specifies the properties used to generate and modify the primitives being instanced by the selected Description. Access the Primitives attributes by selecting a Description, and then clicking the Primitives tab in the XGen Editor.
XGen Preview/Output attributes
Use the Preview/Output attributes to specify how you want hair grooms and instanced geometry to appear when previewed and rendered. For example, using these attributes you can set primitive preview color, specify render settings, and create custom shading parameters.
XGen Modifiers
Use XGen modifiers to change the appearance and behavior of Spline primitives. For example, you can create hair clumps and coils for hair and fur as well as generate force and wind effects.
XGen Grooming brush options
Use the brush-based grooming tools to create beards, stubble, crew-cut hair style, and short fur. The grooming brushes can only be used with groomable spline Descriptions.
XGen Utilities options
Use XGen Utilities to shape and modify XGen guides. For example, the utilities let edit guides as curves, generate guides for curves, use a lattice structure to shape guides and more.
