To open the Custom Rig tab
Custom rigs are typically driven by some combination of ikHandles, constraints and other miscellaneous nodes. The Custom Rig tab provides a visual interface for mapping your custom rig, and retargeting tools to transfer data from other HumanIK defined characters.
The following table provides a brief overview of tasks using the Custom Rig tab.

Select an effector then right-click the corresponding cell in the Character representation and select Assign Selected Effector. |
Adjust the mapping method for an effector. |

Clear a mapped effector. |
Right-click the cell in the Character representation and select Clear . |
Clear all mapped effectors in the current view (full body, neck, or spine view). |
Right-click any cell in the view and select Clear All in View . |
Clear all mapped effectors for the current character. |

Load a custom character layout. |
Select > Edit > Custom Rig > Load UI Configuration. |
