You can set the following preferences to change how the Search feature works.
- Autofill search field with last-run command
- Determines whether the search field pre-populates with the most recently run command whenever opened. The default value is off.
Tool and Command search mode
- Show history when search field is empty
- Determines whether the most recently searched terms appear below an empty search field. The default value is on.
- Include runtime command names while generating search results
- Determines whether runtime commands appear in the list of search results (e.g. polyExtrude). The default value is on.
- Include keywords (synonyms) while generating search results
- Determines whether keywords appear in the list of search results. If you usually know exactly what you're searching for, you may want to turn this off to avoid clutter. The default value is on.
