You can change which program launches when you open an image or play a movie file within Maya. For example, when you select
Windows > Playblast to create a movie.
To specify your own default image or movie viewer
- Select
Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences, then select the
Applications category.
- In the
Applications preferences, enter the path to the desired program for each file type listed, or browse to point to the application executable file by clicking the folder icon.
