Use these options to set what happens when you use the
Target Weld Tool. Click and drag a vertex or edge to the target to merge all selected vertices or edges. For more information on how to use this tool, see
Merge polygon components.

- Target
- (Default) The target vertex becomes the new vertex and the source vertex is deleted.
- Center
- A new vertex or edge is created equidistant between the source and target components. The source and target components are then removed.
- Preserve UVs

When active, UVs adjust to maintain the 3D texture placement. This setting is the default.
- Disable this option when you want the 3D texture to distort when the vertex or edge is adjusted.
