The
Bake Instancer Tool allows you to convert MASH instances into the actual objects they represent. This is useful if you need to export the file to a non-MASH compatible format or if you use MASH for polygon modeling (i.e. repeating patterns like fences or floor tiles). You can access this utility via
(requires a MASH instancer to currently be selected).
- Bake This Frame
- Creates non-animated object versions of the instances based on the current frame.
- Bake Animation
- Creates animated object versions of the instances for the duration of the timeslider. Keyframes are set on each object's transform values at every frame.
- Channels
- Customizes which channels are baked to the new objects.
- Optimizations
- Customizes options related to the performance of the baking process. These include:
- Clear Memory
- Clear Undo: Clears the undo stack.
- Close Script Editor: If the
Script Editor is currently open, this will close it upon baking completion.
