Options dialog-Idle Mode tab

The Idle Mode tab of the Options dialog is used to enable or disable Idle Mode and change the amount of time before entering Idle Mode.

Idle Mode is a licensing feature that automatically returns the product license after a user-specified period of inactivity in the product. Use Idle Mode to:

• Make the license accessible to others, automatically, when you no longer need it,
• In the case of Token Flex licensing, prevent additional charges being incurred as a result of leaving the product open while it is not in use.

It is only configurable when using network licensing or Token Flex licensing.

Idle timeout settings

Enable idle license timeout

Use the checkbox to enable idle license timeout.

Enter idle mode after X minutes

The number of minutes before entering Idle Mode. The minimum value is 15 minutes and the maximum is 480 minutes.
