Injection molding machine - Injection Unit tab
The Injection Unit tab of the Injection molding machine dialog is used to specify injection unit related properties of the injection molding machine.

| Specifies the maximum allowable injection stroke that can be used on the injection molding machine. |
| Specifies the maximum allowable injection speed that can be used on the injection molding machine. |
| Specifies the size of the injection molding screw on the molding machine. |
| The following dialog elements are valid for a Dual Domain or Midplane meshed part running a Process optimization analysis. They specify the capabilities of the injection molding machine so that the Process optimization results are in the appropriate format. |
| The method used to control the filling of the part. The options are:- Stroke vs ram speed
- Ram speed vs time
- Stroke vs time

The maximum number of ram speed changes the injection molding machine implement. - Constant or Linear steps
The type of transition between ram speed steps. - Constant
An immediate change to the new ram speed. - Linear
A linear change in ram speed from one step to another.
