Bring the simulated and optimized lattice and skin bodies result into Netfabb's Lattice Commander to perform finishing touches
The flexible editing and processing functions of Netfabb for lattices and skins are well suited for integrating and reintegrating lattices and skins in 3D additive projects. To preserve information and to reduce processing times, Optimization Utility can send its optimization result directly to Netfabb, maintaining association of lattice, skin, and solid body.
You could now use Optimization Utility's facilities to generate a mesh, but this would limit your options to edit the generated result.
This launches Netfabb and loads the whole component in Lattice Commander.
With the component imported loaded in Netfabb, you can now perform steps such as adjust skin thickness, move and clean beam ends, merge with a surface lattice, etc.
