| Cause: | In a topological design optimization solution with an iterative solver selected (DECOMPMETHOD set to PCGLSS or VIS) and MAXITERRESTART set to a value greater than 1, either the solution error measure, EPSILON was greater than 1.0E-5, or the vector resultant error measure was greater than 1.0E-3. Optimization requires higher than normal accuracy to prevent design divergence, so the solver will automatically adjust MAXITERRESTART times by dividing the current SPARSEITERTOL value by 10 starting at a SPARSEITERTOL value equal to the user-specified value times 10 MAXITERRESTART . Note that a larger MAXITERRESTART value can improve performance, but also could adversely affect the design quality . | |
