UNABLE TO PERFORM PPFA USING SPECIFIED DATA, STATUS:

Cause:
|
A nonlinear composite Progressive Ply Failure Analysis (PPFA) was requested via the
NLCOMPPLYFAIL model parameter without the required input data on
PCOMP,
MATi, and/or
PARAM Bulk Data entries. The status codes have the following meaning:

The material reduction scale factors were not specified either directly on at least one of the referenced MATi entries or via the
COMPiRSF model parameters.

|
The failure theory was not specified on the PCOMP entry.

| 3
|
The material allowable(s) were not specified on either the PCOMP and/or the referenced MATi entries.

Action:
|
Correct the input data based on the status code. Material reduction scale factors can be specified directly for each
MAT1,
MAT8, and
MAT12 entry referenced on the PCOMP entry. When a reduction scale factor is not specified it can be set for MAT1 entries via the
COMPE1RSF and
COMPG12RSF model parameters, for MAT8 entries via the COMPE1RSF,
COMPE2RSF, COMPG12RSF,
COMPG1ZRSF, and
COMPG2ZRSF model parameters, and for MAT12 entries via the COMPE1RSF, COMPE2RSF,
COMPE3RSF, COMPG12RSF,
COMPG23RSF, and
COMPG31RSF model parameters.
